The County Grand Lodge of the East, District and Private Lodges and our individual members raise thousands each year for local and National Charities. We have worked hard every year and supported Hospital Wards, Children’s charities, Pensioners Nursing Hospice’s, Cancer Research, Help for Heroes, Poppyscotland, War Memorials and many more.

Bro Jim McEwan and his beloved grandson Jayden – the Grand Lodge of Scotland, The County Grand Lodge’s, All Districts, Private Lodges and members donated funds to Jayden’s fight to live, sadly Jayden passed away. Bro Jim McEwan said, “On behalf of my family, thank you to all brothers and sisters who supported Jayden and our family in our time of need, this example of kindness, love and caring is why I joined the Orange Institution”
District 26 presented a Charity Cheque to the Dale Hub, A Family and Community Development Centre based in Armadale. Presenting the cheque for £1200 on behalf if the District is RWDM Bro Steven Pratt, District Secretary Bro Ronnie Calder and District Treasurer Bro Keith Roberts, accepting it is Unit Manager Anne Donoghue, her staff and local resident Mr Francie Drummond. A grateful manager thanked all our members that participated in the Annual Sponsored Walk for their generosity and promised that the money would be put to good use in the making up of Christmas boxes for 90 deserving cases in the local area.
